Highly motivated individual with 24 years oil and gas experience with majors and small public and private Companies. Experienced in many oil and gas provinces of the world as both an explorationist and manager. Has successfully managed public companies through good times and hard times and is well aware of what needs to be done to make the junior public company a success.

Mr. Portman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and has 10 years of experience in the oil industry. Barry has spent most of his career with Marathon Oil and Kinder Morgan CO2 where he was Production Manager and most recently Drilling and Well Operations Manager responsible for drilling and production operations in Kinder Morgan’s enhanced oil recovery fields.

Mr. Skurner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. Jim has 11 years of experience in the oil industry and most recently spent six years with Kinder Morgan CO2 as a reservoir engineer responsible for development of CO2 assets in Colorado as well as tertiary flood development in the Permian Basin.

John is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gulfsands Petroleum Ltd., a company he founded in 1997. He holds BSc. degrees in Physics and Geophysics from University of Utah (Magna cum laude), and during the period 1975 - 1997 held a series of technical and executive positions with Mobil, Amoco, The Anschutz Corporation, BHP Petroleum and Seven Seas Petroleum. For BHP, he served as Regional Manager, Gulf Basin (Houston, 1987 - 1990), Vice President and General Manager Europe, Africa and Middle East (London, 1990 - 1994) and Vice President Exploration, Americas (Houston, 1994). At Seven Seas Petroleum, John was Executive Vice President from 1995 - 1997. In these positions, he originated and participated in highly successful exploration and production projects in North and South America, Australia, Africa and the Middle East.

Mr. Milne is a principal of a boutique merchant banking partnership specializing in advisory and transaction services, governance, succession, strategic planning and financing. He has had an extensive career in international finance as director, chief financial officer and treasurer of major public corporations in the energy and technology sectors and as an investment banker and foreign exchange trader in a major Canadian bank. Tom Milne is also a director of Oilsands Quest Inc. (formerly CanWest Petroleum). Mr. Milne resides in Calgary, Alberta.

Mr. Parker is an MBA Graduate from The University of Dallas and has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He has held executive officer positions within various energy marketing companies including El Paso, Burlington Northern and Burlington Resources. Ed has considerable experience in the mid stream sector of the industry. Mr. Parker resides in Houston, Texas.
